Seth's 1st day of preschool!

Seth, our handsome boy started preschool today. I told him all week that today was the big day, and this morning he was not wanting to go. Big shocker, I know. But, I just kept telling him how fun it was going to be and all that. He picked which of his 2 Spiderman backpacks (yes, he has 2!!???) to bring and off we went. Poor Addie wanted to bring her backpack, too. He walked right in, and didn't even look back. No crying, no nothin'. I got choked up on the ride back home especially since I had to pick Addie up, kicking and crying, saying "I want to stay with Seth! He's my best friend!!". I felt so sad that she could not stay with him. She really does love being with him. I cannot believe Seth is in preschool, and that Sasha is in the 2nd grade! Just yesterday, they were all home with me and we had no agenda or schedule whatsoever. I don't want this time to ever end, and yet I know it will someday soon. I am so thankful that I have them and know they are all little miracles!

I hate first days of school! I cry every time! I look forward to it al year, and then without fail....the tears come! You realize how fast they are growing and changing, huh? It goes by way too fast! Glad you made it through!!

I'm glad Seth did well for you on his first day. Grace has been in preschool for a week and a half and Ava still cries for her every time we drop her off. They've never been without their buddy.

Thanks for your comment on my blog, it really does make me feel better to know that others know how I feel. It is interesting to me how I can feel SOOOO grateful yet sad at the same time. I just wish I could see a little glimpse into the future sometimes to see how things will turn out...that might help me feel a little more peace right now! Sorry to hear about your struggles, I've had my fair share of miscarriages too but never that far along...so sad. I'm grateful that you have three little sweeties and one day we might understand all of this :) :)
