Why do I read all these crafty blogs?
I have several that I follow and yet.....
I don't usually make what they make.
Sometimes I do.
But honestly, I just don't have much time
these days. Or money. Or energy.
I admire their craftiness and yet I wonder....
how do they find time in their day to do all this?
My house is a mess pretty much all the time.
It gets worse as the day wears on. I realize
that since all my kids are with me all day
that this is what will happen until they are married. Or
go off to college. Or a mission. Or just plain move out.
Now that I work with Seth regularly now, it has made our school day longer. I didn't think it would make a big difference, but it has.
That and the fact that I am doing more with Sasha and it takes her longer to finish assignments. I have to keep my eye on her and keep her on task.
She is my lally-gagger. KWIM?
I have heard it may be another year before she will work more independently.
I have many projects I'd like to do or try.
I have several rooms in my house
that bug me.
But, at the end of the day, I am pooped.
Or broke. Or both.
So, I guess I will just keep following other
people's blogs and live vicariously
through them.
Can anyone relate or is it just me? :)

I know what you mean. Ava's old room is still empty and I can't decide what to do with it. Many projects waiting, but not time, energy or money!
oooooh I FEEL YA! i never have time for anything... and i only have one kid to follow around :). hopefully you find time for some projects. projects are SO much fun :)
I hear ya sister.....good intentions! I see something and think, I can totally do that. Yeah, I can, but I'm so totally doing other things I just don't have the time! I've decided this year to make a lot of Christmas gifts....hmmmmmm! I can't even remember half of the gifts I want to make now! Good intentions!
You're way ahead of me...I almost never start projects anymore because I know they will never get finished. We must remember that there is a time and a season for everything. There is a time for a clean house (not now). There is a time for wealth (not now, but hopefully soon). And there is a time to love these little people like there's no tomorrow...and you don't need money or a clean house to do that! I think your kiddo's know how lucky they are to have such an awesome mommy!!! (crafts or no crafts :)
Amen to what Carrie said. :)
I totally know what you mean. For one thing, people do these amazing projects, and then they still have time and energy to do an amazing blog entry about it. Sheesh!
Did you read C. Jane's thoughts on decorating her house at this time in her life? I thought it was really good.
I agree, there is a time and season for everything...and then each of us have different talents and personality designs.
There does come a day we become empty nesters...ahhhh, its nice to be able to start lots of things and even finish them
With children, its very unpredictable, and your thoughts are always on them, which is a great thing.
It does come...but your really in the most valuable time of your life, right now. I can tell you love your children and it was not easy to get them here.
