Counting down...

Can I just say never has anyone been so excited for the NEW YEAR! Not just because little Audrey will be joining us super soon, but because I love having a clean slate and a whole fresh new year out before us. I have read articles about how many people are so optimistic for the new year since the economy has been struggling and I count myself as one of those optimistic people! Will's transition to his private practice made last year really long; I knew it would be! Having done the whole start-a-law-practice-from-ground-zero before, we knew what we were in for. But, the Lord has blessed us and we have both learned so much. Obedience is KEY. Gratitude is ESSENTIAL. This new year has brought more business in the last few days than all the month of December and probably November, too and we are so grateful. Life is good.

I have not been blogging as much as I used to; I guess it is getting harder and harder for me to get school done the way I should so I feel like something has to go! Blogging it is......I thought about letting the laundry go, but decided against it. Gotta have clean clothes, kwim?! (I still have not gotten the whole picture uploading dilema corrected, hence this blog is gotta be the most visually boring in all the earth.) Oh well.

I saw my ob this week and he said that I can have the baby any day after the 9th; which is exactly one week before my due date. I was thinking that I would like to have her on the 12th, since that is a Friday and Will wouldn't have to miss work, plus that is Lincoln's birthday.......but he said that is too close to my actual due date and he doesn't want me going into labor. We are all so excited we can't hardly stand it. I have decided to sew a bumper pad, crib sheet, dust ruffle and maybe a diaper stacker....all of which are super simple or else I wouldn't even bother......I just want, (not need), something new and won't pay $200 for the whole set KWIM?? Can't you just see some of that darling fabric from Hobby Lobby as crib bedding....where are my shoes??? I gotta get over there! ...........oh and I want to make her blessing dress. I better get busy! LOL! So, we are anxiously counting down and imagining holding her in our arms!

Happy New Year to you all! :)

Ok....I swear if you make all of that before she is born, I will have to take you off my friend list! :) Ok, I won't.....cause I know you WILL make all of that before she is born and I wouldn't want to lose you as a friend! :) You're amazing! I can feel the excitement in the air! You're going to have to hold her up to the hospital window so your kids and I can see her from the parking lot! We won't be able to wait!

Yeah Megan! I am so exited too! I made 2 crib sets and loved them. How is it going? The bumper can be kind of tricky. You are amazing!

I've missed your blogging...but I've been a lame-o blogger and don't have a good excuse!

Send pictures as soon as Rodgers #4 arrives...we'll be waiting on pins and needles until then. Good luck with everything!
