Blessing Dress....

All done! I loved this fabric so much for two reasons. #1 It is eyelet and I LOVE eyelet. It is so pretty, and dainty, and simple and just plain lovely. #2 Notice the bottom of the dress was already finished for me! No hemming! The dress and slip underneath poking out, was actually very simple to do. The bodice was the hardest part, and that wasn't even that hard. The fabric of the dress was pretty delicate, so I had to make sure I didn't have to unpick anything or else you'd be able to tell.

I decided to add a little something around the middle so I bought a bit of grossgrain ribbon and attached some ribbon with the cute little flowers on it. I may or may not have used a little sewing glue for that part. Hee hee hee. I am really glad I got it done. I wanted it all finished before she came. Ahhhhh. Mission accomplished.

Aww, Megan, the dress is beautiful! You did such a good job on it. You should be VERY proud of yourself! Okay, I keep telling myself I'm going to take sewing classes. You inspired me! Happy Anniversary, btw! Looks like you guys had some fun times!
