We are winding down our school year and we all are super anxious for summer!! The girls found their swimming suits this week. Yay Walmart for having MODEST Tankini's. (Two-pieces make it easier to go potty, I was informed by Miss Addie. True....). Anyway, we had ONE day this week of nice weather and my kids got out the slip-n-slide. Oh, yes they did. And Will joined the fun when he got home from work. Oh, yes he did. Not me. I stayed out of the water and got Audrey off the patio table a million times. That girl is a climber!!!!
I have wanted to continue to teach my girls how to sew and have not sewn anything all winter. (I am gonna go ahead and blame the two littlest people in the house for making stuff like this HARD for this momma to accomplish!!) But, one thing that Will has taught me is, if you want to do something JUST DO IT! Make it happen. So, the girls picked out some fabric from the store and we are sewing our little hearts out. Audrey keeps trying to sit on the lap of the person sewing, making the progress a wee bit slow, but we will get them done.....! It feels good to sew and to also do something I had as a goal for our homeschooling journey.
I would also like to have a rockin' garden. THIS is going to be the summer. I am not pregnant or have just had a baby. If you have a green thumb, feel free to come give me some pointers........

First of all, I will contact my brother and see if we cant get Nike to pay you some royalties for their "Just Do It" slogan!! :) Secondly....what in the heck?!! You are Mother of the year to have 2 little ones and be sewing! Can't wait to see what you guys whip up.....everything you sew turns out awesome! Thirdly....lets you and I get those suits we were talking about and "Just Do It!" Let's beat the kids down the slip'n slide! I'll even take the pics and post them for you!! Ha, ha! :) What ya say?
