Our Disney Land Vacation!

It was wonderful! Here are some highlights:

The smell of gardenias was amazing. We stepped outside our hotel, and I could smell them!

Being in Disney Land on your birthday was so cool! I waited in line for my button that said "Happy Birthday" and my name and was also given a gift card for $70 to spend in the park! I was supposed to register online, but they guy did it right then! So cool! All day long the workers told me "Happy Birthday, Megan" as did complete strangers who also shared my birthday. I felt like a kid again.

The kids woke up and swam each morning, and ended the day with a swim. They even wanted to leave Disney Land to go for a swim!

We went to see if Seth was tall enough to ride "Tower of Terror" and saw that even Adelynn was tall enough! So, we made all our kids ride it! We bought the picture they snap as you are mid-scream! It is hilarious. They all loved it and wanted a t-shirt that said "I survived the Tower of Terror". They proudly wore them for 2 days and got lots of comments like "You all rode that ride!!??". Yes, they did!

Seth loved "Star Tours". Will and I felt a little sick after that one.

The beach was amazing. We went to Newport Beach on Sunday and Huntington Beach on Thursday. The kids weren't sure if they liked sand all over everything, and the salty water. Seth even told us many times he wanted to go to a different beach that didn't have sand or salty water. Oh, dear. But, we had fun and gathered lots of shells.

We didn't want to come home. But, we ran out of clean clothes, so home we came. Being on vacation is the best! Can't wait until we go again!
