Did you know that.....

Did you know that.....
1. I just barely took down our outside Christmas lights the other day. I quit plugging them in right after New Year's but it is not quite as holly-jolly to take them down as it is putting them up! It has been cold and snowy and I have just been proctrastinating, big time. I used to wonder why people left theirs up so long after Christmas. Now I know why.
2. I ate chips in the tub the other day. Big naughty, naughty. Put the kids to bed. Filled the tub with hot, hot water. Ate chips. Yummy. Will bought the chips. I don't buy chips very often since I luv them way too much.
3. I finally put the baby boy clothes away from the spare room upstairs. Our son would have been born at the end of December. Sasha and I put out the clothes one summer day right before we lost him. I have not had the desire, or courage, or whatever to put the away, but I decided it was time. Sasha helped me and we both got a bit choked up. She is my little crying buddy. So compassionate and sweet.
4. I made homemade noodles for chicken noodle soup the other day and they were awesome! Yay! Now I don't have to spend too much money on the super thick ones I love!
5. We got approved for health insurance but they increased our rate from the original quote because of my "build". I told the agent, "Oh, because I need to lose weight? Just say 'Lady, you need to lose weight'!" He was trying to say it in a nice way. The sad thing is, I weigh less than I have in a long time and am only 10 pounds away from what I weighed when Will and I got married. That made me sad.....Oh, and it costs like $400 per month, has a huge deductible, so it covers nothing. Self-employed insurance stinks like sulfur. We got turned down by IHC because of me and my crappy history. Bummer.
6. I cleaned the eye boogers from Casey's eyes last night and almost gagged. I can't buh-lieve we have a dog and I am grooming him like I am. He is so cute, though.
7. I need to start reading my "Square Foot Gardening" book NOW so that I can be ready to plant my rockin' garden. I really want a good one this year.....
8. I want to make dresses or skirts for my girlies! I love the fabric at Hobby Lobby! Anyone been there lately!? They have the cutests prints there! Yay!
9. We have someone that is going to lease option our house in North Ogden. Cross your fingers.
10. I have been loving country music lately. I have not listened to it for seriously, like 2 years. Now it is on our blog and I have it playing often. Weird, if you ask me.

I loved learning more about you. I did not know you lost another baby. I'm so sorry. I know how hard it must have been.

Megan.....Have I ever told you that I love you? It doesn't matter what you go through....you still always see the best in life, you can laugh at yourself and you spread happiness wherever you go! I really admire you! May the Lord shower blessings upon you and your family this year! I feel for you on the insurance thing....We can't get insurance on our own either,...I got denied for my issues too! We pay over 600/mo. through Travs work....and still have to pay a lot of our stuff! AHHH!!! What do you do, though, huh? See you Sunday!

We've been through the health insurance thing too. DENIED! Don't ever go in for infertility treatments if you ever want to be accepted on a good plan. So...the best we could do was put Dan & the girls on a good plan and me on a really crappy plan that costs as much for me (1 person) as for all of them. Sometimes a good, solid, stable employer sounds pretty nice!

Good luck with the house...I could go on about that one too!
